WC Freeholders Proclaim National Nutrition Month!

March is National Nutrition Month and the Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders have issued an official proclamation in support of its designation and the recent Shaping NJ Healthy Community Grant awarded to the Warren County Community Health Improvement Coalition (WC CHIC). The proclamation affirms Warren County leaders’ commitment to creating a safe and healthy environment for all residents and their support of “making the healthy choice the easy choice.”

At their monthly meeting, freeholders Richard Gardner and Jason Sarnoski both offered personal anecdotes about wanting to provide healthier options for their families, as well as hoping to see residents take advantage of the healthy resources the county has to offer. All three freeholders voiced their hearty support for the designation of National Nutrition Month and the WC CHIC’s initiatives. Sarah Shoemaker and Sherri Cirignano accepted the proclamation and expressed excitement about the upcoming programs
