Bloomfield Community Garden Plots Are Ready!

The plots at the Bloomfield Community Garden at the Oakeside Cultural Center are ready! We have tilled the area and enriched it with organic gardening soil. We even have honey bees to help with pollination.

Interested in securing a plot? If you live in the Bloomfield area and are interested in gardening with us, please download an application and review the rules and obligations. Please note that the Fee does NOT apply to you. The last page of the application must be completed and returned to Oakeside.

Orientation. All our gardeners must also meet with Sarah Meyer, Oakeside’s Garden Coordinator for a quick orientation prior to gardening. Oakeside will reach out to you to schedule your orientation once your agreement is received.

Please let us know what types of vegetables you are going to grow. We would like to assist with obtaining them as well as provide free expert advice on how to care for them.
